Luke Melton designed this magazine cover for the December 1999/January 2000 edition of Insurance Marketing Magazine.

The cover graphic was created to illustrate the concept of "Being Competitive in the Insurance Marketplace." We chose the photo because it visually portrays both the concept of "competition" (the agents are actually arm-wrestling) as well as the concept of "cooperation" (the image can also be interpreted as a congratulatory handclasp between two agents who have just achieved a mutual goal).

The original photo was downloaded from a photo CD.

Luke was responsible for this magazine cover in its entirety, including concept, copywriting and design/layout. At the time this cover was designed, Luke was the Art Director, Marketing Director and Production Manager at AMC Publishing.
